■Background At SHIBUYA109, we enjoy shopping with many customers every day. Since we target women, the cleanliness and comfort of our facilities are very important points. ■Challenges Before the renovation, we had both hand dryers and paper towels installed. However, with regular hand dryers, water drips onto the floor while moving to dry hands. Additionally, the paper towels that were used alongside needed constant replenishment, and if not disposed of each time, they became unsightly. ■Solution The solution we introduced during the restroom renovation was the Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryer. Compared to traditional drying methods, the Airblade Tap is a sink-integrated hand dryer that allows hand washing to be completed within the sink, eliminating the worry of water dripping onto the floor.
